We are Jake and Penny Jacob and are happy to serve as the community partners for the Christianity section of Cagora. We are currently living in Tucson, Arizona but plan on retiring to the the Turks and Caicos Islands. Our future plans include developing the island of Middle Caicos in the Turks and Caicos Islands.(see: www.TheJakesterShow.com)The "About me" could fill hundreds of pages and since both Penny and I are the community partners and believe that the two should become one in Holy Matrimony the title should really say "about us" so I will be brief and feel free to contact us.Through the Providence of God I met my wife Penny when I was 19 and she had given her life to the Lord Jesus Christ walking down the street after being involved in a Bible study for 6 months. She had a vital personal relationship with a God she talked about talking to and who talked back. Wow! It went right over my head but I did know I wanted a relationship like that. I just didn't know what it would involve. Surrender. I had decided that I should be a missionary but I didn't know what God had up his sleeve. Through my wifes' life I come to know there was more to the spirtual life in Christ than religion but I was slow to come to "the end of myself". Finally, after a long stint at a mental hospital at age 29 I was walking on a path and unbeknownst to me my wife had been praying for me. On the inside of me I had an urge to say something that I really didn't want to but I was compelled to and finally I blurted out, "I will to will the will of God".Life changed quickly, I was released and went home to my wife and young son and the rest as they say is history. We have lived happily ever after. NOT. No, my readers, the Christian life is a life of war and struggle and yes always ultimate victory. But never without the fight. But thanks be to good it's as the scriptures says "a good fight" - that's because we win in the end. My prayer for you is that we might serve you in a way that would enrich your life. So we come to you with the confidence and experience and understanding that we can do well and do good on the earth. Welcome to http://christianity.Cagora.comJake and Penny Jacob
